Is DNS zone well config

Hello I´m new to hosting. So I´m sorry if my questions are too newbie.

I have hired a dedicated server and installed CPanel. When the hosting provider gave me the account info they gave these DNS

Primary....: adns.aus.xxxxxxx.com
Secondary..: bdns.aus.xxxxxxx.com

But when I logged into the server, create some accounts and check out "edit DNS zone" I realized that the DNS set by default were ns1.us.aus.xxxxxxx.com and ns2.us.aus.xxxxxxx.com.

When I tried to set these DNS on my domain control panel it gave my an error message.

So I tried to put there the DNS given by my hosting provider, and it made the change. But I don´t know if it will work until the DNS are spread over Internet (24 to 72 h).

At the Edit DNS fuction I kept some domains with the default DNS (ns1.us.aus.xxxxxxx.com) at others I tried by changing the default settings by ( adns.aus.xxxxxxx.com and bdns.aus.xxxxxxx.com)

I´m waiting to see what happens. But it would be nice to know in advance which of the ideas will work, or if it would not work at all.

Have you asked your hosting provider for assistance? I am sure they will know the answer if they have assigned the nameserver to you.
