Yeah, I have a lib of subroutines, and have yet to see where the advantage of classes are in my particular cases. I went ahead and ordered the book. May be time to se where I could be wrong. THX

Cool! You'll like the book.

There's a section on setting up the zend framework with rewrite rules for apache and boostrapping, etc. Very easy to understand it from this book, less so from the Zend Framework documentation. I found that the first chapters of the book will explain a lot that some of the framework documentation just automatically takes for granted that you know about classes, scope resolution, extended classes and abstract classes.

So, good for you. I'm sure you'll breeze by me in learning this stuff.
