I was told last month that I was required to attend a family reunion.

I was told this week it required being on a cruise ship.

I called the cruise line and they said Internet would be $1.00 per minute.

I was told that our billing manager, Amy, would also be joining us.

For those of you that have no GlowHost history, Amy is my step-sister, she is the billing department manager, and she seems to make GlowHost customers happy.

She only joined the crew about 8 months ago, but she is starting to shine.

I am now packing my bags. I have 4 hours before my ride picks me up. I hope I do not forget my socks or clean underwear.

Have any of you ever tried to pack for a week of travel with less than 3 hours of prep time?

I am hoping the boat is un-equiped for Internet. I doubt it though.

Worst case, I willl see everyone in 4-5 days.

We will post some pics here when we get back if the boat does not sink.

If anyone complains about GlowHost while I am trying to find $1.00/min Internet, please remind them that I have not had a family reunion in my thirty-something years alive on this planet.

All of you active on the forum, thanks for helping us out during our re-union.

My wife and I went on a cruise to Nassau. It was a three day'er. It was the Royal Carribean "soverign of the seas". All in all - very pleasurable. If you are going to port in Nassau, take a $10 cab ride from the port to Paradise Island and see the Atlantis Resort and Casino. Even if you aren't into gambling it's still amazing. They have an underground labyrinth aquarium that will astound you. ... This is assuming that you are going to the islands... of course... you may be going to Alaska...

Either way, you deserve a great vacation, Matt. Thanks for all the hard work!

Congrats to both you and Amy for having the opportunity to attend a fmaily reunion!
I'm from a very large family with Swedish heritage, I remember wonderful family reunions when I was young. It's definately one of those things you'll remember.

Cruise: not my forte...ranks up there with fires and drowning for me. LOL

I hope you have a wonderful time, enjoy some well-deserved time off, and come back renewed and happy.

Okay we are back! (boat didn't sink) and I have to coordinate with the rest of the family to get some photos up for you. Should be able to post those in a week or so. We only got to get off in Jamaica the other port of call was too rough, but all in all it was a great time.

Oh my gosh! What an awesome experience you guys must have had. Reminds me of that movie with Sean Connery, The Medicine Man. You know where they were repelling through the jungle on all those pulley systems.

Amy’s kids are really cute. How precious is that?!! Looks like it was a great time for all.

Ok, I am stumped - I can’t guess which one you are.
There is definitely a family resemblance though. Could be three brothers? Or, a Dad and two sons! Maybe someone else can guess.
