Your privacy is important to us.
Sorry if this page is so short, but all that you need to know is that we will never, ever share your contact details with ANY site or organization. We hate Spam as much as you do.
We didn't find you, you found us.
That's the way it should be, plain and simple. Your information is kept behind
lock and key and you can be confident in your private information never being shared,
sold or redistributed.
We do not actively police the web sites that we host.
Nor
are we required to by law under Section
230 of the Communications Decency Act
You are free to host all USA legal content.
Please take the
time to familiarize yourself with this important legislation. Important
highlights of this act protect online service providers as well as site owners
and operators for publishing "questionable" content provided by third
parties.
In Layman's terms, if an arbitrary individual found
your web site on the Internet, and were to post information, for example, on
your public forums, and that content was deemed against the law, you cannot
be held accountable or penalized as a site operator or owner provider you can demonstrate that you were not involved in the generation of the content. If this important
act did not exist, every time a fraudster (or otherwise unscrupulous person)
found a way on to your web site and posted something that was not supposed to
be there, YOU could be held legally responsible and so could your web hosting
company. It is obviously impossible to police every page of every web site every
day, and this legislation protects your freedoms to live your every day life
and still be able to operate a web site without fear of legal persecution for
a simple accident or absence from administration of your web site. Imagine going
on vacation and returning to find your forums filled with illegal advertisements
for illicit drugs or credit card numbers or defaming content. Obviously in
due time you would likely remove this content, however without this legislation,
you could go to jail, face fines and other penalties for something that was
out of your immediate and direct control. Please protect your freedoms and
and keep careful eye on future developments on section 230 of the Communications
Decency Act.
Please
note that GlowHost.com, Inc is not qualified to make legal opinions or guidance
